Why Klapdrop
Every card comes from specialist databases: TMDB for films and series, IGDB for video games. Its rarity follows how well known the work really is, its stats come from its real figures (fame, rating, runtime, box office). Nothing is made up.
No subscription, no purchases, no ads. We're betting on a game carried by its players: as long as it holds, it will stay that way.

A free booster every 10 minutes, up to 10 in reserve. Seven rarities, foils, alt art.
Filmographies, sagas, decades, Top 250: big sets pay klaps at every step, and each complete set gives you a title.
Live duels on what you know about the works, trades and auctions with other players.
Competition
Every win against a random opponent raises your rating, every loss lowers it. The board starts again every Monday: climb it with a good ratio.
FAQ
Yes. No subscription, no purchases, no ads. Klaps, the game's currency, are only earned by playing and can't be bought.
A free booster every 10 minutes, up to 10 in reserve. Daily missions and duels give more, and the shop sells packs for klaps.
Not for your first booster. An account (email or Google, no password) keeps your collection and unlocks duels, trades and guilds.
By how many ratings the work has received: the better known it is, the rarer its card, with thresholds of their own for films, series and games. Mythics stand apart: the 30 best rated among the 100 best known of each universe. Every pack's rates are public.
Films, Series, and Games in one place, with the same klaps, the same guild and the same profile. Each new universe joins your account.
Join a guild: every duel you win earns points for the whole team, and the guilds face each other all week long.
5 live rounds. Each round you answer a question about your opponent's card: get it right and your card attacks. A famous card hits hard, but your opponent knows it too: they'll answer its question more easily.
A season lasts a week, Monday to Sunday. Duels against a random opponent move your rating: up when you win (more against a better rated player), down when you lose, never below zero. On Monday, every player who won a duel keeps a season title with their rank, along with rewards; then everything starts again, with a new Special effect.
To play as a team. Your wins against random opponents add up for your guild: a weekly board with rewards for every member who won a duel, wars between guilds of close strength, and raids where you challenge another guild directly. The guild also has its chat, its shared collection and its own shop.
From the reference databases of each field, kept up to date by their communities: The Movie Database (TMDB) for films and series, IGDB for video games. The catalogue follows new releases, and a card drawn in its work's release week carries a special badge.
No app to download: Klapdrop works in the browser, on phone and computer alike. Added to your home screen, it opens full screen like a real app.
Yes. Films, series and video games come first; other universes will follow, each with its own cards, sets and achievements.
The game is free, with no ads and no purchases: donations help pay for hosting, posters and the time spent growing it. They give no advantage in the game. That's today's choice; it may change with what players ask for.
